Researcher Xu Xiaomin graduated from the Department of Economics and Management at Nanjing University with a bachelor's degree in Economics and Management. He then completed his master's degree in Management Science and Engineering at the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, and later earned his doctoral degree in Management Science and Engineering from the School of Economics and Management, Southeast University.

He has led and completed over 20 important research projects, including those funded by the National Social Science Foundation, major projects of the Ministry of Education in the humanities and social sciences, projects of the National Development and Reform Commission, projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and commissioned projects from enterprises. Additionally, he has authored 5 monographs and published more than 20 papers in academic journals such as "Chinese Soft Science," "Educational Research," "China Higher Education Research," "Chinese Higher Education," "Journal of Sun Yat-sen University (Social Science Edition)," "Journal of Southeast University (Philosophy and Social Science Edition)," and "Journal of Central China Normal University (Humanities and Social Sciences Edition)."
