Professor Wang Wensheng was born in March 1978. He obtained his Ph.D. in Management from China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) in January 2006. In 2012, he was selected for the Ministry of Education's New Century Excellent Talents Support Program. From April 2014 to April 2015, he conducted research visits at the Energy Policy Institute of the University of Chicago in the United States.
His main research areas include energy management and policy, big data applications, and intelligent decision-making. He has led and participated in more than 50 projects, including key projects funded by the National Social Science Fund, general projects funded by the National Natural Science Fund, key research projects of the National Energy Administration, the Economic Operation Bureau of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Education, and large energy enterprises. He has received two first prizes and three second prizes for provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological progress. He has published over 50 academic papers, with nearly 30 of them indexed by SCI/SSCI/EI/CSSCI. He has also authored one monograph.
