Dr. Liu Haibin is a professor and doctoral supervisor. He obtained his bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from China University of Mining and Technology from September 1987 to June 1997. From December 1997 to March 2002, he conducted research at the Postdoctoral Research Stations of Geological Resources and Geological Engineering at China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) and Management Science and Engineering at China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing). From October 2017 to October 2018, he pursued further studies at West Virginia University in the United States.
In recent years, Dr. Liu has led and completed over 10 longitudinal research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Key Projects of Scientific and Technological Research of the Ministry of Education, the New Century Excellent Talents Support Program of the Ministry of Education, and the Doctoral Fund Project of the Ministry of Education. He has also undertaken more than 20 commissioned projects from enterprises. His research achievements have earned him 8 provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological progress awards and 4 software copyrights. He has published over 70 academic papers at home and abroad, with more than 40 of them indexed by major databases. Additionally, he has authored 4 monographs. Dr. Liu has supervised 29 doctoral students, over 200 master's students (including MBA students), and 2 postdoctoral researchers. He was selected for the New Century Excellent Talents Support Program by the Ministry of Education in 2010.
