Zhang Zhiqiang obtained his doctor degree in Management Science and Engineering from China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing).

Dr.Zhang has led and completed over more than 20 research projects of government, enterprises and institutions, such as National Social Science Foundation, Beijing Municipal Natural Science Foundation, Foundation of State Administration for Industry and Commerce, Foundation of Beijing Administration for Industry and Commerce, and so on. Dr.Zhang has published more than 20 high-quality CSSCI and EI academic papers, and his papers have appeared in Science Research Management, Soft Science, Journal of Macro-Quality Research, Reform of Economic System, and so on. Dr.Zhang has published 10 monographs, formulated 10 standards, received 2 provincial and ministerial scientific research awards and 4 teaching awards.

As the national, provincial and municipal government quality Award evaluation team leader/expert, Dr.Zhang has evaluated Xiaomi, Lenovo, Baidu, Shanghai Metro, Beijing Oriental Enterprise, State Grid-Beijing, Goldwind Technology, NAURA, Beijing Metro, CSCEC Strait Construction and Development CO.,LTD, Xuanwu Hospital, Shunxin Agriculture, Beijing New Building Materials Public Limited Company, AVIC compound, Beijing OriginWater Technology, SUNYARD, The Summer Palace and other hundreds of enterprises and units.
