Professor Tan Zhanglu, Ph.D. in Engineering Management, serves as the Chief Discipline Leader for doctoral programs and is a member of the Beijing Informationization Expert Group and a director of the Beijing Operations Research Society. He obtained his doctoral degree from Beijing University of Science and Technology in March 1995 and completed his postdoctoral research at China University of Mining and Technology, Beijing Graduate School in January 1997. His research focuses on Management Science and Engineering, Management Information Systems, Engineering Technology Economics, and Economic Systems Analysis. He has completed over 30 scientific research projects, including funding from national scientific funds and key research projects of ministries. Professor Tan has published over a hundred papers in domestic and international academic journals and authored four monographs. His research projects have received eight provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological progress awards.
