Professor Zhang Rui obtained his Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering from China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) and served as a visiting scholar at the Department of Resource Economics and Management, West Virginia University, USA. He has presided over and participated in 9 research projects such as the National Key Technology Support Program, National Major Special Projects, and National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as 12 consulting projects. He has published 65 academic papers, formulated 4 national standards, and 1 standard for the coal industry. Additionally, he has authored 4 monographs and received 8 provincial and ministerial-level scientific research awards and 5 teaching awards.
